Our Signature Newborn Session captures your baby’s first days of life in a creative and unique way. There is nothing more beautiful than newborn photography, and we know how important it is to preserve your family’s most precious moments. We take pride in providing an unforgettable experience and creating beautiful portraits that celebrate you and your built-up life.

OUR STYLE

Our approach and style of newborn photography is clean, timeless with a little twist of extraordinary, focusing on your baby as the beautiful artistic subject.

As a newborn photographer, Kristel Zanol enjoys using soft colors such as white and working with fresh flowers, wooden baskets and natural materials.

PLANNING

We recommend taking newborn portraits in the first 4-12 days when your baby is very sleepy and flexible. This is the best time to capture those precious curled up poses. Although beautiful photos can be taken at any stage and we work with newborns up to 6 weeks, please note that after the first few days we can no longer capture the sleepy, coiled poses.

If you are sure you want specific poses, please ask about them during your consultation. Kristel’s schedule fills up months in advance. Therefore, contact her as soon as possible to ensure availability.

CONSULTATION

All newborn sessions are tailored specifically to you and your baby and include a consultation with Kristel.

You will discuss ideas on floral style, colors, accessories and wardrobe.

We work closely with you and learn from your ideas and expectations to ensure you have a relaxed newborn photo session.

ACCESSOIRES

Our studio uses natural materials for accessories that are gentle on your baby’s skin. Most hand-knitted soft materials and wraps are made of 100% natural organic yarn. Everything is washed after each session with detergents that are free of harsh chemicals.

YOUR NEWBORN SESSION

We like to keep newborn portraits simple without overdoing them with props or unnatural posing. All newborn sessions are done in our beautiful tanning studio.

Keep in mind that it can be very hot (up to 30°) for a newborn session so comfortable clothing is recommended. And also a good portion of patience please. The studio has an elegant and comfortable sitting area to relax and feed your baby, and is also equipped with a changing table. Your baby’s comfort and safety is much more important than a beautiful pose.

EDITING

Professional photo retouching is included in your newborn session. We specialize in the most extensive and detailed editing, and we focus on a natural look.
